At Another we are looking for an established Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in developing new business and enhancing existing client portfolios.
Based in Hull, this position is perfect for a dynamic individual who can not only identify and secure new business opportunities but also foster strong relationships with existing clients. You’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact, whilst working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As Business Development Manager / Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to grow a client base by identifying potential opportunities and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Utilising your expertise to understand client needs and recommending tailored solutions that align with offerings.
- Building and maintaining a robust network of contacts within the industry to enhance visibility and reputation in the marketplace.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients, ensuring an excellent customer service approach
- Acting as a mentor to Executives, providing guidance and support.
- Working closely with the wider business and teams to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded, fostering a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to align strategies and enhance the competitive edge.
- Leading the creation of compelling proposals that articulate the value proposition and showcase the unique benefits of service solutions.
We’re looking for:
- A proven track record in business development, account management, preferably within a business consultancy sector.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships and engage with clients at all levels, demonstrating exceptional communication and influencing skills.
- A strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and develop actionable plans to maximise success.
- Have strong commercial acumen with proven experience to all areas of the sales cycle
- Experience of developing, mentoring or leading teams (informally or directly)
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to travel
