At Another we are currently looking for an experienced HR Manager to join an established expanding business in Cheshire. Operating out of a small office, you will be stand alone, responsible for supporting a broad range of HR generalist activities whilst driving the HR change agenda. This is an exciting role, working within a complex industry.

Responsible for the following:

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on all HR policies, practices and procedures.
  • Work with managers and stakeholders to provide advice and support with all people related issues – including managing disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance etc
  • Supporting the MD in the delivery of the people plan
  • Leading a wide range of people projects, restructure, systems, engagement, cultural change, diversity & inclusion and health and wellbeing
  • Ensure employee absenteeism is monitored and reported monthly and any issues are dealt with at the earliest opportunity.
  • HR administration and maintaining and up to date and accurate HR system and reports.
  • Overseeing recruitment and onboarding as an when required
  • Provide a high-quality service and act as a trusted HR expert whilst building credible stakeholder relationships
  • Liaising with medical practitioners and the occupational health provider where necessary
  • Working with the external payroll provider and provide accurate data, reports and information
  • Coordinate mandatory training and track compliance.
  • Identify any stills gaps or development needs across the business.
  • Liaising with payroll as and when required and ensuring employee records are kept accurate and up to date.

We are looking for people with the following skills and experience:

  • Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards
  • Proven experience of working as a HR Manager, ideally gained in a standalone role within a small to medium sized organisation
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and managing complex ER cases
  • Experience of working with an external payroll provider and providing accurate payroll related data
  • Experience of supporting change through growth would be ideal – processes, systems, restructuring
  • Experience of supporting and enhancing wellbeing and engagement projects
  • Strong experience of building relationships and managing stakeholder
